We are pleased to inform you that the new release of Atomeet is now online!
After one month of hard work, we’ve fixed a lot of bugs and we’ve improved the user experience.
Thanks to all the beta-testers for their feedback. You have organized more than 3.000 events with Atomeet this month!

More exciting

Atomeet is more interactive with the live wall.
You will be informed in real time of new messages and event updates without reloading the page. Just stay connected!
Also, we’ve added a rich text editor to allow you to customize your wall posts.

More accessible

Atomeet is now fully supported by all browsers, except Internet Explorer 6. We are currently working on a special version for this old-school browser.
We added the iPhone version so you can now browse your events directly from your phone, join events and locate all your parties on Google Map.

Easier

A lot of feedback had concerned the invitation process so we fully redesigned it. It’s now easier to select contacts and send out invitations, your custom message is stored so you can use it again the next time.

The geolocation was improved.
Your events will be associated with a useful map that, depending on the precision of your event’s address, will display the urban transport stations around.

Note that you can now copy/paste addresses from everywhere.

More customization

A new option in the settings panel will allow you to select the visibility of your events. A public event will be indexed by search engines and published in Atomeet’s index. A private event is not indexed by search engines and is not displayed in Atomeet’s index. Only people who know your event’s address can visit it.

For each of your events you can now set a custom status.
In addition to your status, you can add a personal message that indicates your mood or other.

We added a new theme for Guinness lovers (as we are :p).

More communicative

We have redesigned emails that are sent out. They are much clearer and comprehensible now.
In your profile page you can set the way you like to receive Atomeet emails: once each time something happens on your events, once a day or no emails at all.

What next?

The next new features and improvements will depend on your feedback.

For now we plan to:

• publish the public API for developers
• add feature to manage your event’s life cycle (delay, cancel and remove events)
• develop widgets to be published on your blog or website in order to invite people to your events
• add a poll feature to help you to choose the right date and the perfect place.
• add a tool to help you promote your events on social networks and websites (twitter, facebook…)
• improve the wall to allow you to post pictures and videos
• and much more…
